You can also use Jasper AI as a content review platform where you can submit your work and it can perform spelling and grammar checks, rewrite sentences for clarity and format your documents for you. 

Jasper AI also has an SEO feature which you can use to optimise your website. Suggesting and incorporating keywords into your content it should help you rank higher and faster on search engines.

While Jasper AI has lots of potential, there are some overall issues with the software that users may struggle with: 

The main problem with this AI and other ones, such as Google Bard, is that while they’re connected to the internet and can produce up-to-date information, the data they work from might not be correct, just popular.  

When you request information from Jasper AI, it will scan the internet and use the data from the more relevant and popular articles, whether this article is true or not. It has no critical thinking function where it can sort the right information from popular information.  

Jasper AI doesn’t provide sources for the information that it creates; this can be a problem with medical device content, as you might need to reference your information.  

Grammarly is an AI-powered grammar and spelling checker that can help you improve the writing for all of your content. It scans through all your work with ease, marking up errors and even making word suggestions.

While Grammarly has a lot of strengths, it also has some weaknesses. Grammarly’s paraphrasing tool is useful, but it’s not as powerful as some other AI software such as Jasper AI or even ChatGPT. It lacks the sophistication to match the complex tone of voice and is limited to a few options.  

Grammarly also struggles with medical device terminology, sometimes not recognising industry words or phrases.

Otter AI’s most basic service has a free option, which comes with 600 minutes of audio per month and includes real-time transcription, speaker identification, and searchable transcripts.

Otter AI has a lot of exciting features, but does it perform as well as promised? Like many other AI tools released in the last year, it has its issues.  

It can struggle to find the end of a sentence. If there isn’t a clear pause after the end of a sentence, then it will just continue.   

Currently, Otter AI is limited to only English, with a particular focus on English and American accents, so it struggles with accents outside of these regions.   

It’s expensive, but considering all the features it offers, it may be worth the investment, but only if you plan to use it often.  

It can be used for creating a whole range of different content.  

Bard has many features to support and improve your content creation and marketing.  

On command, Bard can create any type of text you require; all you need to do is ask it to generate what you want by using a set of explicit rules. One of Bard’s main strengths is that it can learn more about what you want the more you use it.  

Instead of having to constantly remind the generator of the tone of voice you want your writing to take on, Bard remembers this and uses this rule in all the work it creates for you.  

Bard can translate any text into any language, meaning you can create marketing campaigns to resonate with people all over the world.  

Unlike AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard is connected to Google, meaning it has access to the Internet, so it’s up to date with current information. What this means is that your content creation, questions, and requests that are directed to Bard are up to date with the current information on the internet.  

Currently, you only need a Google account to use Bard, so there is no price on it at the moment and nor are there any public plans for it to become a paid feature. As it’s still in the development stages, though, that could change.  

Bard is still very much under development, so it is not at full capacity yet; despite this, it’s still learning and always trying to improve. 

Bard can be biased. It’s trained on a massive dataset of text and code, which includes a lot of human biases. This means that Bard can sometimes generate text that is biased, offensive, or harmful. 

It can be inaccurate. Bard is still under development, and it sometimes makes mistakes. This can be a problem if you are using Bard for important tasks, such as writing a research paper or making a financial decision. 

It can be repetitive. Bard sometimes repeats itself or generates text that is very similar to other text that it has generated in the past. This can make it difficult to read and understand Bard’s output.

Kapwing has two pricing options, a free version and a pro version, that can cost up to £24/month. The free version includes things like creating and editing videos and memes, exporting videos in up to 720p resolution and collaborating with up to 5 people.

While Kapwing is a super useful tool which allows anyone to become a video editor, it does have some drawbacks, especially when using the free version.  

The free version of Kapwing adds a watermark to all exported videos, which can look unprofessional. 

The free version of Kapwing exports videos in up to 720p resolution, which is the lowest resolution that counts at HD, but there is a visible reduction in quality when compared to higher resolutions.  

Kapwing is an online-only tool, so videos can’t be edited offline. 

The free version of Kapwing has limited features. Some features, such as the ability to add music and sound effects, are only available in the Pro plan. 

Overall, what you should take from this is that if you have a problem, AI will probably have a solution. So next time you find yourself thinking, “There must be an easier way to do this!” the answer is yes, there is.
